Project Description
SPRING WAKES UP THE NATURE AFTER A LONG SLEEP
Ice slowly melts away from covering the lakes and the nature becomes green again. Birds return for nesting and leaves grow back into trees. The day becomes longer than night.
March is still a month of winter in Finland, while April usually kills the last of snow.
The temperatures often vary from -5 ºC (0 ºF) in March to 15 ºC (59 ºF) in May.
