Project Description
WINTER REVEALS SNOW AND PURITY
While lakes start freezing early December, Southern Finland often has to wait for permanent snow until Christmas. The frost and new snow decorate the nature in a most beautiful way.
January and February are usually the best months for snow, while December and March can have their shares of cold as well. Southern Finland gives no guarantee for snow, however on a good winter snow can mount up to 30–60 cm (12–24″) .
The temperatures vary from very cold -18 °C (0 °F) to cold 5 °C (41 °F).
